Engineered for performance, manufactured in Byron Center. We build roof trusses for residential and light commercial projects of every shape and span.

Roof Trusses
Strong rooflines,
built to spec
Our roof trusses are engineered using industry-leading software and manufactured with precision equipment. Every truss ships with stamped engineering drawings, so permitting is straightforward and inspections go smoothly.
Whether you’re framing a simple ranch or a complex hip roof with multiple pitches, we can engineer a truss package to match your plans exactly.
Truss types
Roof truss types we build
From simple gable roofs to complex custom homes, our design team engineers each truss package around your plans. Common profiles include:
Common
Common and gable trusses
The standard for most homes, garages, and additions. Simple, efficient, and quick to set.
Vaulted
Scissor trusses
A sloped bottom chord creates a vaulted ceiling inside. Standard and custom pitches for great rooms, bedrooms, and churches.
Hip
Hip trusses and hip sets
Complete hip packages, including girders, jacks, and step-down trusses, engineered to work together.
Bonus room
Attic (room-in-attic) trusses
An open area in the middle of the truss gives you usable bonus room or storage space above garages and second floors.
Mono & piggyback
Mono and piggyback trusses
Mono trusses for shed roofs, porches, and lean-to additions. Piggyback sets for tall roofs that are too large to ship in one piece.
Girder
Girder trusses
Multi-ply girders sized to carry concentrated loads from intersecting rooflines, valleys, and large openings.

FAQ
Roof truss FAQ
How long does it take to get roof trusses?
It depends on the time of year and the complexity of the package. Send us your plans and your quote will include an estimated lead time.
Do you sell roof trusses to homeowners?
Most of our work is for builders, contractors, and lumber yards. If you're building your own home or garage, send us your plans and we'll let you know how we can help.
How long can a roof truss span?
We build custom roof trusses with spans up to 60 feet. The right design depends on your pitch, loads, and bearing points, and our design team will engineer it for your project.
Do your trusses come with engineering drawings?
Yes. Every truss package includes engineering drawings for permitting.
